Hair Care!

Well, there you have it! I have seen constant inquiries about what people should use to bring their dull short hair back to life.  The following products I recommend to ladies around the world, especially those who love to color, bleach, or add extensions to their hair.

First and foremost, it is best to wash your hair only a few times a week, however, I understand that sometimes that is just not enough.  Therefore, the following tips should help you maintain a healthy scalp and head of hair.

1. If you are going to color treat, bleach or add foreign hair to your head, it is important to add moisture back to your locks. I live by Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner, and you will too! Screw going to Ulta! Amazon.com has a liter duo set for $36! (Joico)
Note: If you are going to use a good product like Joico, really use it! Let the shampoo remain in your hair for 3-5 minutes and then rinse.  Following, leave the conditioner in your hair for 5-7 minutes and then rinse with cool to cold water.  This will lock in the moisture to the follicles.

2. I have searched far and wide for a non greasy leave in conditioner and I love, love, love Bed Head's Ego Boost by Tigi. You only need a quarter-sized amount to run through your hair when it is damp. Avoid the roots! (Bed Head)

3. If you really want to go the extra mile then I would recommend Schwarzkopf Bonacure Repair Sealed Ends.  Just saturate the ends of your hair when using this product. I swear by it! (Schwarzkopf)

4. It is important to take your vitamins. I have said it once and I have said it before that I live by Biotion Vitamins. These are essential for vital hair and nail growth.  I only take one 5000mg pill per day, but some people prefer to take two. You can find Biotin pills at your nearest drug store.
